Lemon Coconut bliss balls
I love to have a treat and cup of tea after dinner. Whenever I indulge in a store bought sugary treat, I immediately feel sick and regret it!
So, I’ve been making a batch of healthy treats to last the week (or as long as my husband and kids will allow). This is my current fav bliss ball flavour of the moment, Lemon + Coconut, recipe. I enjoy with a cup of Pukka liquorice and cinnamon tea.
Measurements are approx as I just throw it all in and make up as I go.
10 Medjool dates
6 drops of lemon DoTERRA essential oil or zest of one lemon (do not non-DoTERRA essential oil)
1/2 cup Desiccated coconut
1/2 cup Cashews
1/4 Oats
Tbsp Coconut oil
1/3 cup Sunflower seeds
1/4 cup collagen powder if you like (I use Metegenics from Shift Natural Medicine)
Blitz in thermomix or blender. Roll in to balls + roll in coconut. Refrigerate. enjoy!
Recipe option 2. Choc Peppermint Bliss balls
Omit the lemon oil, instead use DoTERRA peppermint oil drop (4)
add 2 tbsp Cacao powder
